I have a Wordpress blog, and I like to use 1600 x 1200 images so people can download them and use them as a desktop background if they want to. But, some stories have 20 or more images, and to have people looking through that many high res images is too much for the server to deal with on a regular basis.
When I upload an image, WP creates: 150x150 thumbnail, 320x240 "medium" image, and 1024 x 768 "large" image in addition to the original image. Currently, the images link to the full size image, in a lightbox. I use the gallery function regularly, so it would need to work with individual images as well as the post gallery function.
BUT... I need it set up like this:
You click a thumbnail, and the large size version (1024x768) opens in the lightbox, with a link in the frame of the lightbox to download the original full size image.
