I am running the newest version of Wordpress with the Buddypress plugin. I have a child theme for Buddypress and I decided to UPDATE Buddypress so I could get the annoying notification to stop showing. As soon as I did this, every page on my site went blank, including my wp-admin page. I had to go into my database (Bluehost) and change the theme to something default so I could at least access my wp-admin page. I tried to reinstall my child theme ...and when I reactivated it it just went blank again. Another weird thing to be considered is I noticed that no plugins are being listed, even though it says 32 are installed at the top.
The main thing I want to do is get my child theme back up and running smoothly without loosing my plugins (except if they are causing the bug obviously) or anything else.
I could probably do this myself, I think it's a plugin that's causing the trouble, but it would take too much time for me.
