I have a couple of start-up sites and need to find someone to help with a variety of tasks. One of the sites is a Magento e-commerce site that sells gun parts and accessories. The other is a Wordpress site that educates people about mortgages. I imagine the role will evolve as we go, but the initial tasks I need help with are as follows:
-Check site daily to ensure it is functioning correctly
-Monitor email and Facebook account for customer service inquiries
-Add blogs to site - Note, blog content will be created by third-party writes. The VA will just be responsible for posting the content and potentially helping coordinate the process.
-Add social media posts to platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
-Prepare monthly reports (summary of analytics such as sales, site traffic, etc.)
-Catalog management - Ensure new products were added to site correctly (products import automatically from our distributor), update/customize stock content provided by distributor (product titles, descriptions, meta data, etc.)
-Email marketing (potentially)
The number of hours per week will depend on the person's capabilities. As mentioned, the role is new so the number of hours may start off lower but the job will become increasingly more demanding as the sites grow. The product catalog could use a lot of work from a content creation standpoint, so I expect that's an area where a lot of time could be spent early on.
