I'm seeking a Notion expert to create a customized template that will streamline my content creation process. While I primarily focus on content for social media, the template should be versatile enough to accommodate various types of content. Steps: Step 1: Set Up Your Template in Notion Open Notion and Start a New Page Open Notion, click New Page, and give it a title, like "Content Planner for Creators." Select Empty Page to start from scratch. Set Up the Structure Click / to bring up the block options in Notion. Use these to create different sections. Consider these sections to add (each of these can be adjusted or removed based on preference). Step 2: Build Out the Template Sections 1. Dashboard Section Add a Header: Type your page name at the top and set it as a Heading 1. Add Icons and Cover: Use an emoji as an icon or upload an icon from a free site like Flat Icon to make it visually appealing. You can also add a cover image that reflects your theme. Intro Text (Optional): Briefly explain the purpose of this planner to make it user-friendly. 2. Content Calendar Create a Calendar View: Click /calendar and choose Calendar - Inline to insert a calendar directly into the page. Customize the Calendar: Name it "Content Calendar." Click on a calendar date to create entries and add properties, like: Platform: Select property > Choose “Multi-Select” and add options like "YouTube," "Instagram," etc. Content Status: Add statuses like “Idea,” “Draft,” “Scheduled,” or “Posted.” Due Date: Automatically linked to the calendar date. Tags: Categories or themes for the post (e.g., “Tutorial,” “Vlog,” etc.). 3. Content Ideas Database Create a Table View: Click /table and choose Table - Inline. Customize the Table: Title it “Content Ideas.” Add columns for: Title: Add the idea’s title. Platform: Where it will be posted (e.g., “TikTok”). Priority: Choose a “Select” property with options like "High," "Medium," and "Low." Tags: Keywords or themes for sorting. Due Date: Date when you want to post. Status: Use statuses like “Idea,” “Drafted,” “Completed.” 4. Task List Create a Task Board: Click /board and choose Board - Inline. Customize the Board: Name it “Task List.” Add columns for To Do, In Progress, and Completed. Create cards for each task. For example, "Edit Video," "Write Instagram Caption," "Schedule Posts." You can also add properties like Due Date or Assigned To (useful for small teams). 5. Analytics & Tracking Section Create a Simple Table for Analytics: Title it “Analytics.” Add columns for: Date: When metrics were recorded. Platform: Choose the platform like “Instagram” or “TikTok.” New Followers: Track growth. Engagement Rate: Manually calculate based on views and likes. Step 3: Customize the Look and Feel Add Dividers: Type /divider to add visual separation between sections. Use Emojis and Icons: Emojis can make each section instantly recognizable, e.g., ? for Content Calendar, ? for Content Ideas. Color-Coded Text: Select text, click A (color), and choose colors that match the overall vibe of the planner. Step 4: Finalize the Template Test the Template: Go through each section and ensure everything is working and looks good. Lock the Page (Optional): Lock it by clicking the three dots (...) at the top right > Lock page. This prevents accidental edits. Key Requirements: - The template should assist in organizing tasks and to-dos related to content creation, tracking habits and routines that contribute to this process, and storing notes and ideas for potential content. - It should be user-friendly and intuitive, allowing for easy navigation and use. - Experience with Notion and understanding of content creation processes is a must. Ideal Skills: - Proficiency in Notion - Experience in content creation - Strong organizational skills - Ability to design user-friendly templates
