I have two forms that are PDF's done in livecyle that you can fill out off of our wordpress website. The problem is we have them currently trying to submit via email using the "submit" button.
Problem - If I'm using Chrome, or firefox, it opens up in its viewer (not acrobat reader), they can fill the form out but the "submit button" does nothing. If I download the file, open in acrobat reader and hit submit it works fine. I can't however expect everyone to download acrobat reader instead of there browser to view these files.
I need to figure out a solution and implement it. Fix submit so it works differently so that it can email without having to open in full blown acrobat reader, custom api to submit the email, upload the completed filled out form to an FTP location that can be accessed, I'm up for ideas, but I need to get the filled out PDFs back to us.
Please propose solution - the forms must stay in PDF as they have a lot of fields and design, so converting the forms to gravity or something isn't an option we can look at.
