I am looking to have a system that is web based. The system will do the following:
A job request form is filled out, and once the form is submitted, an email notification will go out to my service guys. The form will be simple with name, address, phone number(s), and request type, as well as a section to add notes on the nature of the job request.
The log in area should be set up so my guys can log in, and see the "open" jobs list. They will click on the job, be able to review the job, and choose to "accept" the job, or leave it in it's "open" status. If they choose "accept", the job will now show in the list as "working". The technicians username should show up next to the job in the list. Once the technician has completed the job he will go back into the list, select the job, and choose to "close" the job. Now the job goes into a "closed jobs" list. Only the user who accepted the job should be able to close it.
From an admin standpoint, I want to be able to set up technician usernames and passwords, and also be able to change the passwords as well. I would like to be able to disable or delete a user too.
The list of jobs must be able to be edited, and once closed it should go into a "closed" jobs section, that we can access at a later date.
Would be nice to have a button for directions to the address for the customer linked to google or mapquest(Not necessary).
