Details High Level Requirements: A Global platform that would provide a dashboard to our Film producers/Content Owners/Content Providers (Partners) to upload their movies by specifying the cost, genre, trailer, cast etc. Visualize and draw reports : How many views, net income till date. A broker based platform which automatically collects a configured amount from every movie that viewers watch and remits the balance to the Partners' accounts We will be primarily concentrating on pay per view. Detailed Requirements: * Per per view and Advertisement model * To be deployed on Amazon with CDN support * HTML5 Support * Multi-Device Support.. Movies Playable on TV, Latop/computers, Tablets, smartphones * Cast Support through ROKU, Chromecast * Responsive which enables development of Hybrid Apps * Movies need to be streamed using RTMP/RTMPE/RTMPS (to PC) and HLS (to mobiles) so client does not have direct access to video file. (This is supported with the VideoShareVOD WP plugin) * When movies are streamed, the username of the user/viewer should be watermarked to the left corner of the screen for piracy deterrence. * Secured payment gateways. * Mutli-currency support including Indian INR * A provision to automatically remit an admin-configured-percentage of money to producers account * Automatically handle the VAT (When provided with the table of countries from which people access against the VAT to be collected, the system should add the corresponding amount to the total * System should have the possibility to encode Videos in diff formats * Dynamic Streaming capabilities based on available bandwidth * Provision to include advertisement between the content, if needed * Advanced SEO * Reports & Analytics * Partner dashboard through which Partners could upload movies by specifying cost, genre etc, view reports (see details in high level requirements given above) * Geo Restriction/ IP blocking. Partners should be able to Geo block on content/movie level * Admin should be able to view and override any data/configuration on any/all Partners dashboard. * Admin should be able to set individual commissions or fees on each content/movie * There should be a partner request form with the requester's email. Upon approval an email should be sent to the partner with login details * Chat facility * Should be possible for admin to configure the time that the user has to watch a film ..say 3 days or 4 days etc * Chat support available so that the users/viewers could contact us directly * Open Source. Neatly written code. Scalability and maintainability a MUST with maximum use of Plugins (As an example [login to view URL]). A lot of plug-in info is available on that site/comments section This is just a start. We would scale this up to include more functionalities like download options.
