I’m interested in a design to be laser cut in SS 3mm thick. The panel goes above a bespoke Sauna I’m having built in my down stairs bathroom. The pictures you see are a thought on design, mechanically speaking I need to have enough air flow for proper ventilation to occur above the drop down Sauna ceiling. The panel will be covering the space between the bathroom ceiling and the top of the drop down Sauna ceiling. Dimensions for the panel are 1,650mmx220mm the panel will need an angle of approx 22 degrees. I believe the best way to achieve the angle is to have two (2) panels so they can be spot welded at the correct angle from the inside.
So one panel will be 900x220mm, the other panel will be 750x220mm. The picture of “Holes” is from the Park Hyatt hotel in Aucklands Viaduct, which are many steel panels used as wall coverings the drawing is a thought, if used the wave patterns need too be large to allow good air flow.
All this being said you may have other great design ideas which incorporate wave action and bubbles affect.
Please let me know your ideas and thoughts for these panels, whatever is chosen must be computer ready for Mulcahy to use for laser cutting of the panels.
