I'm an retail entrepreneur with a daytime job in enterprise search and logging, where I work with Business Development.
A partner and I are looking to develop a service similar to [url removed, login to view], but rather than maps, customers will be able to create posters from property drawings. This will require a search solution that ingests property drawings / blue prints from public archives, and a web based editor where customers can customise their posters and finally buy them in a webshop.
On the website, the customer would type his/her address in a search box and get all publicly available drawings, either through an integration with the public archives, or our own database. They select the drawing they want and then customise layout, size, colouring, filters, label etc.. Street name and building year will be default (from file details) but can be edited as well.
Eg. A Stockholm resident lives on Flemminggatan 14. They go onto the website and search their address. Amongst other drawings, they choose one of the property's north facing facade (see attachment), which then populates the editor. From a basic layout, similar to the editor page on Mapiful ([url removed, login to view]), they can cut and edit the poster however they want, and add filters etc.. Once an order is placed, the poster is printed and sent to the customer via post.
Starting with Stockholm, drawings will be gathered by the City Planning Office public archives ([url removed, login to view]).
Please give an estimate on how long it would take to create a POC.
