I am looking for a team or individual to create a polling site similar to www.vizu.com.
The site will need to allow users to create an account to view detailed statistics about how they are voting in each poll. Simple statistics will need to span across most of the site, as polls will be related.
Polls will have set tags, and statistics will be driven via these tags. For example, if the poll was relating to a “2006 Ford Focus racing a 2005 VW Bug”, then statistics should be available on how users have voted from the terms 2005, 2006, Ford, VW, etc.
Ideally, Individual poll questions will be easily embedded into other sites much like how a youtube video can be embedded. This would allow non registered users to vote from other sites. Questions should be interactive in either a Flash/Ajax style to instantly switch between the voting panel and results panel.
The content should be easily managed from an admin account as well. Real life results should be posted by the poll results. The Poll results should be viewed as pie charts and bar graphs.
Comments should be supported for each poll. Registered users should be able to change their votes in each poll until the poll’s expiration date.
The look of the site should be simplistic, and resemble [url removed, login to view] usability and advertising space. The site will initially feature one or two topics, and expand to half a dozen. The winning bidder will likely be chosen to complete additional phases of the work.
Pages should have space for a few ads, and support RSS feeds. Augenerating the feeds would be ideal.
The site will be relatively simple in concept, but must be scalable and expandable. Operating system and DB type requirements are flexible. I have ideas for logo design and website design, but skills in these fields will be helpful. Please post examples of your work in website design and any similar project experiences.
