What we're looking for:
An experienced web developer to build an integrated environment for our stakeholders. This environment has five components, all built within a single WordPress website using Astra theme with Learndash LMS.
The current incarnation of the platform is built on a L*MP stack, using Wordpress as a CMS.
Additionally we require a suite of software to perform the various processes in each pillar of our structure, ranging from security management software, payment and booking software, financial management software, online and credit card merchant accounts; it is a long list.
The brochure website
To provide information about SpeakSpoke’s courses and subscription options.
This encompasses all public-facing information on our courses, materials, method, teachers etc.
This will also include informative posts on the English language designed to attract students to the site and channel them into the top of the sales funnel.
To allow customers to sign up as members to self-study non-live classes and take quizzes as appropriate.
The e-commerce shop
To allow customers to make purchases of subscription or other products.
To keep track of customers’ prepaid credit.
A number of subscriptions will be defined for time-based access to the learning platform. A product defined in the shop front will have associated subscription length and a smart coupon which can be used to book a class x number of times, where x is the number of classes defined by their package.
To allow customers to book live classes as laid down in a schedule and manage bookings and cancel
The Learning Management System (LMS).
This contains the lesson content and tests. Students will study the plus lesson content via this portal, and it will track their progress for them. Tests will be automatically and periodically delivered.

This is the central pillar of our online environment and is here the user experience must be enjoyable and frustration free
The teacher recruitment and booking portal.
To allow teachers to register accounts in order to be interviewed prior to being allowed to work.
To manage a recruitment process for teachers.
To allow teachers to set their teaching availability schedule.
To provide a community for customers and teachers to interact and ask/answer questions.
To provide a profile page for all users which will allow them to manage their accounts.
This will take the form of a community-type plugin in the website, allowing people to have personal profiles.

WooCommerce to provide ecommerce functionality.
WooCommerce Memberships to control customers’ access to courses and coupons for bookings.
WooCommerce Bookings to handle group class booking schedule.
Appropriate payment method plugins - Digipay, Paypal, 2Checkout
Event Manager to handle private class events.
LearnDash LMS to store and present the course material, both as accompaniment to the live classes and to allow the customers to self-study.
BuddyPress to provide community tools.
bbPress to provide discussion boards relevant to each course.
Zoom Meeting to provide integration between the company’s Zoom account and the bookings plugins.
Nextend Social Login to enable login via Google and Facebook.
Plugins to enable integration between LearnDash, BuddyPress, bbPress, WooCommerce.
Zoho Recruit OR EasyJobs to manage the teacher recruitment process.
The site is hosted on a shared server, containing a standard Fedora Linux web hosting environment with nginx. PHP, Perl and Python are available
