I am looking for a simple web-based solution (hosted) for a help desk and knowledge base and just do not have the time to go through the tons of web material.
This is a quick and hopefully inexpensive project where I want someone to research these products on the web, generally they are combined but I am open to seperate packages as well - and provide 2 or 3 alternatives that suit the requirements.
The requirements are:
1. A hosted solution
2. Customizable with client logo
3. Trouble tickets issued for problems
4. Supervisor mode for reviewing and assigning problems
5. Reporting for management
6. Escalation procedures definable
7. Inexpensive (<=$15/login per month)
As far as the knowledgebase is concerned, it should be able to have people add data to it via email or via web interface. Be completely searchable and hosted.
Both these products need to be simple to use and run without a fuss.
