We need an “deal of the day” e-commerce website that uses Zencart as the engine and all of the ordering takes place on the home page....it's all about easy and simple....
The design needs to be very simple with no more than 8 items that can be bought on the home page. As simple as one click buying as possible. The customer can select as many items as they want and be able to quickly and easily submit the order.
The web site needs to support Amazon one click payment option, pay pal, visa, mc, and amex
We will have a second page of related items that will also have no more than 8 items. To get to the 2nd page access needs to be very clear and easy.
We will not be using categories.
The product will be shown on the page in a vertical format (image, description etc)
A picture of the item is at the left side of the page. To the right of the picture image is a description of the product. To the right of the description is a “I WANT THIS” message where they enter the quantity of the product desired. They can fill in quantities for each of the items in the two categories. When quantities are entered, click on a button at the bottom that says “SUBMIT ORDER.”
From there, you go through the Zencart account sign up/check out process. We will accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, PayPal and also want to accept Amazon accounts.
At the top of the page we’ll need the log in and a large connect to our Twitter account button. Also a button for “How Does It Work” which is a list of Frequently Asked Questions. The FAQ document has been written.
At the bottom of the page, we have typical “About Us,” “Contact Us,” “Privacy Statement,” and “My Account” functions. The text for all these items has been written.
We also need a text and submit function to ask people to subscribe to a newsletter so we can gather their opt-in email addresses.
