The existing web site [url removed, login to view] has been specifically designed in this format and with long sales copy. It promotes the sale of a overseas property survey containing the feedback of existing owners about their true experiences of actually owning an overseas property.
The site needs to be reproduced with ultra clean HTML and must be fully optimised for the highest possible rankings in the search engine. We will provide the keywords for inclusion in the code but the designer must have excellent SEO experience and must advise on keyword density in the body copy and where to place the keywords to maximise search engine ranking. Submission to engines will be undertaken by Echoreef.
The site must be fully editable in Dreamweaver.
Additional features that must be added are:
Main page: Within the main body of the copy, a ‘sign up to participate in the 2006/07 survey’ form will be included containing a number of specific fields. This HTML is generated by a email marketer application called [url removed, login to view] The ‘You have successfully subscribed’ page will then load as a pop-up window over the main page. The main page will also be refreshed clearing the contents of the form. The subscriber can then close this pop up and continue browsing the site.
At the bottom of the main page is an area for customers to pay. We are adding 2 new options, 1st option is to pay by NOCHEX – [url removed, login to view] a buy now button (HTML text supplied) and this will be place in the same way as the existing PayPal button is right now. The second new option is to click to download an order form (PDF) in order to send a postal payment. The PayPal option stays.
Finally, 2 new text links (new pages need to be created) at the bottom of the page for:
a) Privacy page – all text
b) Contact Us page with 3 or 4 text fields and 1 open text box to fill in their enquiry.
In essence the site will look and feel exactly the same but will contain brand new code. All images supplied.
The contract is worth the lower end value of the small projects price banding.
