I currently have navigation buttons that are designed via .CSS. I have 6 custom images/fonts that I put inside each button. I have attached a screenshot of my site ([url removed, login to view]) and a screenshot of the navigation bar I would like to imitate ([url removed, login to view]). There may be a few tweaks once installed, but they would be pretty minor. Most navigation/menu bars use a bar. I would like to keep my buttons. Currently, my script allows you to click on the gray button which now turns a light green when clicked (notice the NEW RELEASES TAB). The colors are not important since I can change both the default and the activated button upon clicking later via CSS. However, I would like the buttons to be activated by HOVERING and NOT BY CLICKING. So, the idea is this. When someone puts their mouse over one of the 6 tabs such as OUR ARTISTS, all other buttons would go to default silver/gray background and gray font, but the OUR ARTISTS tab would light up green with orange font (I can provide the activated orange font buttons like NEW RELEASES later). In addition to lighting up green with orange font image swap, there would be a drop down box going from tab to tab from OUR ARTISTS to MY CART rather than from screen edge to screen edge. Finally, as seen in the screenshot, there would be a vertical arrow pointing to each button. For the project, we could use the coloring that this website used, but I would like to be able to swap it out to a color that best fits our site design. I think it would probably be an easy switch. This finishes the FIRST PROJECT. The SECOND PROJECT is taking the files from the [url removed, login to view] screenshot (I'll provide later) and putting them in the proper containers and aligning the columns/widths,etc. I'm pretty close already. I just need a few tweaks. The main issue for alignment is the centering of the NAVIGATION BAR (Project #1). It is not currently in a container, and when the native resolution changes the buttons shift rather than remaining centered on all resolutions. The site is designed in 1024 x 768, but should look good and consistent in all resolutions and major browsers. One final note: Apparently IE7 has issues because I see a lot of sites offer a patch for it. Knowledge about that browser's incompatibility would be a MAJOR PLUS!
It would be a pleasure to work with you again, sir. This project is pretty straightforward and I think that I would be able to complete it within 1 working day. Of course, we would go through several revisions.
