We require a graphic designer to help us out with site designs - please read the following in full.
What we normally do is go to a client and ask them a list of questions to get an idea of their requirements. We ask questions like 'name 3 sites you like the look of' and the colours to be used etc.
Based on this information we will then come up with a mock-up to describe the site layout, look and feel. We often do up to 3 mock-ups but often the second and third mock-ups are variations of the first.
Due to an increased workload we need a graphic designer to help us out with this process. We have been using sites like [url removed, login to view] but are looking to develop a more long term relationship with a graphic designer.
What you will need:
- An excellent command of English so you fully understand the brief.
- The ability to draw up a site design based on requirements - these will need to be a jpgs but when the client has picked the design you will just need to provide the psd. (If you can create the html too that's a bonus but not essential).
- Graphic design skills such as photoshop (or similar) are essential.
To show you are up to the job we need to see some designs YOU created (not as part of a team etc). They have to be YOUR designs and YOUR designs only.
We are happy to pay for quality and at the moment we are doing most of these designs ourselves. If you price the job too high we will just do it ourselves. However don't price it so low that you cannot afford to give it your full attention. There may be ongoing work for the successful candidate (not sure if that is within the [url removed, login to view] rules - if not we will just run this one project)
