The navigation on my Webflow site is fully designed and works perfectly on desktop. When a hamberger menu appears at Tablet breakpoints and below. The menu no longer works. After some recent tweaks inside Designer the hamburger icon on the Tablet breakpoint (both landscape and portrait) no longer opens the menu at all. I need someone who knows Webflow interactions and break-point settings for troubleshooting to jump in, track down the conflict, and restore the click-to-open behaviour without altering the current styling. Everything—from the icon animation to the menu layout—has already been built; I just need the functionality brought back to life. Deliverables • Diagnose the cause of the “Menu not opening” issue on the Tablet breakpoint • Apply a clean fix inside Webflow (or with a small, documented code snippet if absolutely necessary) • Verify that the menu opens, closes, and scroll-locks correctly on Tablet landscape (991 px), Landscape (667px) and portrait (393 px) views. • Provide a short note explaining what was changed so I can avoid the issue in future updates That’s it—no redesign, just a quick, solid repair so the site behaves consistently across devices.

Hello, I can quickly restore the Webflow tablet hamburger functionality without touching the design. I’d approach this by checking the tablet breakpoint settings first, then verifying the menu toggle interaction. If a simple Webflow setting change doesn’t work, I’ll add a small JavaScript snippet that keeps the existing styling intact and logs the exact change for you. I’ll test the fix on both landscape and portrait orientations before you approve anything, so nothing else on the site is affected. This ensures your navigation stays consistent across devices without any visual changes. Happy to take a look at the site and apply the fix right away. Thanks, Lazar.

Hi, I will fix the hamburger menu on your Webflow tablet breakpoint so it opens and closes correctly at both 991 px and 768 px, without touching your existing styling or animations. You will also get a short written note explaining exactly what broke so future Designer tweaks do not trigger the same conflict. On a similar Webflow nav fix, the issue turned out to be an interaction trigger that lost its breakpoint visibility setting after a recent edit. I will check yours for the same pattern first. Questions: 1) Did the tablet hamburger stop working after a specific change you remember, or did you notice it later? 2) Do you have any custom embed code blocks in the nav section, or is it all native Webflow interactions? Share a read-only preview link and I will pinpoint the conflict today. Kamran

Hi, I can see the hidden issue here: the Webflow navbar still looks right, but one breakpoint-level conflict is stopping the Tablet click state from firing. I’ve handled similar Webflow fixes where a small interaction, breakpoint override, or custom script quietly breaks the toggle without changing the design. I’ll inspect the Tablet landscape and portrait behavior, isolate the conflict in Webflow interactions or embed code, and restore the open/close flow while keeping your current styling intact. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. I can also verify scroll-lock behavior and document the change so future edits don’t reintroduce it. Could you confirm whether any custom code, interaction changes, or navbar class edits were added right before the Tablet menu stopped opening? Looking forward to your reply so we can finalize the exact plan. Best regards, Asad

A tablet-only hamburger failure right after a Designer tweak is almost always one of three things: the burger's tap target getting covered by an element that only shows at 991px/768px, the Menu Button accidentally moved outside the Navbar so Webflow's native open interaction stops firing, or a custom-code snippet whose selector or media query silently overrides the click on tablet. I'd inspect the tablet z-index stack and Navbar structure in Designer, confirm the Menu Button still triggers the built-in open state, then audit Custom Code and any bound interactions for tablet-scoped rules. The fix stays inside Webflow wherever possible with zero restyling, and only a small documented snippet if the conflict is truly code-side. Then I verify open, close and scroll-lock on tablet landscape (991) and portrait (768) plus your working mobile and desktop views, and send you a short note on the exact cause so future edits don't reintroduce it. One thing that helps me pinpoint it fast: on tap, does the icon visibly animate but the menu never slides in, or does nothing happen at all? That tells me whether it's the trigger or the menu panel. Hi I understand you are looking for a hands-on fix to restore the Tablet hamburger menu click-to-open behavior in Webflow after Designer tweaks, without changing your existing styling, icon animation, or menu layout. I’ve worked on Webflow navigation reliability where breakpoint-specific interactions can silently break due to settings conflicts (trigger areas, class/state changes, z-index/overlays, or interaction inheritance). My approach is to trace the exact Tablet-only failure path, isolate what changed, and implement the smallest safe correction so desktop/mobile behavior remains untouched. For this, I would first reproduce the issue on Tablet portrait (768) and Tablet landscape (991), then inspect the hamburger and menu setup for interaction and breakpoint overrides, checking for competing click handlers or overlay/scroll-lock logic. Once I identify the conflict, I’ll apply the fix directly in Webflow (or add a tiny, documented code snippet only if needed), then verify open/close and scroll-lock behavior across Tablet and the existing mobile/desktop views. I’ll also include a short change note describing the root cause and what setting/state should not be altered in future Designer updates. Best, Justin

Hi, I can get your Webflow tablet nav working again without touching the current styling. The issue sounds like a breakpoint interaction conflict or a hidden overlay/click setting after the recent Designer changes. I’ll trace the tablet-specific behavior, restore the hamburger click, and verify open/close plus scroll-lock on 991px and 768px, while making sure mobile and desktop stay intact. If a small code fix is needed, I’ll keep it clean and documented so future edits don’t break it again. Regards, Parvesh M.

Hi, This looks like a classic Webflow breakpoint conflict—probably a z-index or interaction conflict after the recent tweaks. I’ve fixed similar issues where tablet breakpoints lost functionality due to hidden elements or misplaced interactions. I’d approach this by isolating the tablet breakpoint in Webflow’s designer, checking the interaction triggers and z-index stacking, and applying the minimal fix—likely a small CSS adjustment or interaction reset—to restore the menu toggle without touching the styling. The biggest win will come from confirming the fix works across both landscape and portrait orientations. I’ll keep the changes in Webflow’s native tools first, document the exact cause and solution, and test thoroughly before handing back the site. Thanks, Denis.

The fact that the menu still works on mobile and desktop but fails only on the Tablet breakpoints usually points to a breakpoint-specific setting, a menu element state, or a custom script that's intercepting the click event only at 768–991px. I'd start by checking the Navigator, breakpoint visibility settings, and any recent interaction changes before touching custom code. If code is involved, I'd isolate whether it's overriding Webflow's native navbar behavior rather than patching around it. The goal is to restore the existing click-to-open behavior without changing the animation or layout you've already built. I'd also verify the open/close state, scroll lock, and make sure the fix doesn't introduce regressions on the working mobile and desktop breakpoints. When it's done, I'll leave a short explanation of what caused the issue and what was changed so future Designer edits don't break it again.
