ABOUT THE COMPANY Centrum Bad (Kaps Consulting ApS) is a Danish startup specializing in complex bathroom renovation projects inside apartment buildings - work that requires technical design, engineering, and formal approval from housing associations and sometimes municipal authorities, not just tiling and plumbing. The team is small but highly competent, with strong relationships across the entire supply chain. Budget is a real factor: this is a lean, sharp startup, not a corporate account, and we expect the same discipline from partners we hire. WHAT ALREADY EXISTS The site's content, structure, and visual identity are fully finished and live as a working reference, built in Webflow at a staging URL ([login to view URL]) - not yet on a custom domain. All five main pages have real, finished, client-approved copy: Home, Services, Case studies, About us, and Inspiration (a small blog/resource section with a sub-page on interior styles). Content and structure are locked - this is not a content, copywriting, or structural-design project. Important - this is not a Webflow project. The Webflow site is the reference for content, structure, and visual direction only. You will not be given Webflow access, and nothing will be edited there. The deliverable is a fresh build of this same site in WordPress, hosted at [login to view URL], matching the reference closely in content, layout, and visual feel, adapted naturally to WordPress themes/page builders. A separate contest already produced the company's new logo and visual identity (wordmark, mark, color palette), already implemented on the Webflow reference site. That identity carries over 1:1 into the WordPress build. SCOPE A from-scratch WordPress build replicating the finished Webflow reference site, plus outstanding visual-polish items never finished on the reference, plus a new Danish/English multilingual setup. 1. Homepage Replace the current hero image (a bathroom photo of uncertain origin) with a properly-licensed open-source/stock photograph or an original illustration - see Imagery policy below. Highest-priority visual item on the site. Design a small custom icon set for a four-item "core services" grid and a five-item services list on the Services page, sharing one visual language and sitting comfortably next to the logo mark. Recreate the "typical timeline" Gantt-style chart. On the Webflow reference this is a live, coded HTML/CSS component, not a static image or stock WordPress feature - there's no off-the-shelf equivalent, so propose your approach: custom code, a plugin, or a simpler equivalent that still gets the six-phase timeline across. A large six-step accordion "how we work" section sits beneath that chart (each step expands to show what we do, what we need from the client, deliverables, an approval-gate callout, a "lessons learned" note, plus thumbnails for two steps). One connected design system - typography, color, chip styling, panel behavior - rebuilt as a whole. A subtle "current page" nav indicator and light touch-ups to CTAs and page background are minor items that can be batched in. 2. Services page Apply the shared icon set to the five-item services list. Recreate the FAQ section (12 finalized Q&As) - copy is locked, only the visual treatment (accordion behavior, spacing, optional process-flow graphic above it) is open. 3. Case studies page Currently text-only, one completed case study (finished, approved copy). Real photos of client homes will never be supplied for this or future case studies (see Imagery policy), so support this page with open-source photography and/or original illustration/diagram work instead - e.g. a stylized process timeline, an icon-based project-scope summary, or generic material/texture imagery. Top priority. 4. About us page Close to finished (founder-spotlight layout, photo, accent line, contact section). Replicate as-is; only optional finishing polish is open, not a redesign. 5. Inspiration / resources section The overview page shows a flat set of category tiles; do not lock a layout until a pending internal decision is confirmed - it will be communicated before this piece starts. Five existing articles have no imagery yet; add representative open-source photography/illustration per article (generic material shots - tile, grout, fixtures - not tied to a specific client). One sub-page (interior styles) is further along: real photography for four style categories with a caption band under each. Recreate closely. 6. Danish/English multilingual build An English version of the entire site (all pages plus five articles) is already translated and approved - a build task, not a translation task. Use a WordPress multilingual plugin - WPML or Polylang, whichever you have stronger hands-on experience with - with a visible DA|EN switcher in the header, matching the reference's understated nav style. The client wants to edit both language versions herself afterward through WordPress's normal editor, so the setup must support that as an ongoing workflow. LOGO & TAGLINE IMPLEMENTATION (hard requirement) The logo package includes a mark/wordmark and taglines it was tested against, but the tagline/subtext on the site must be built as live, editable text in WordPress - never baked into the logo artwork. The client wants to swap in a new tagline anytime by editing text in WordPress, without new logo files or a developer. Practically: Implement the logo as a mark/icon asset (SVG/image) next to a separate text element for the tagline, styled in the site's type system - not one flattened image containing both. Wherever the tagline appears (header, footer, hero, etc.), it should be normal, editable text, sized/positioned to survive a text swap of similar length without breaking layout. The mark/icon itself (no tagline baked in) is the one asset locked down as a static logo file. This is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have. IMAGERY POLICY (hard constraint) The client will not show photographs of actual clients' bathrooms or homes anywhere on the site - a firm rule, applying to the hero image, case studies, blog articles, and anywhere a "real project photo" might otherwise be used. All imagery must be: Properly-licensed open-source or stock photography - a license clearly permitting commercial use, documented for later reference. Generic material/interior photography (tile, fixtures, water, natural materials) is welcome. Original illustration or explanatory graphic - line illustrations, diagrams, cutaways, stylized process timelines, icon-based summaries - created for this project, not implying a specific real property. Exception: a photo of the company's own workshop or team (not a client's home) may be used if supplied, but this is optional, low priority. OUT OF SCOPE Copywriting or content strategy - all copy is finished and approved. The logo/visual identity itself - a separate, completed engagement (see Logo & tagline implementation above for the one requirement that applies here). Structural/IA decisions still pending internally (e.g. Inspiration page's category model) - confirmed before that work starts, not decided by you. Automated migration from Webflow - no compatible export exists between the platforms. Rebuilding by hand from the reference and approved copy is expected and should be priced accordingly. Backend/form functionality is optional - the contact form on the reference is currently a visual mock. Include as a priced add-on if you'd like; not a blocker either way. PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS Comfortable building a WordPress site from scratch - a custom/child theme or a proven page builder (Elementor, Bricks, or similar) - hosted on [login to view URL]'s WordPress hosting. Direct [login to view URL] experience is a plus, not required; solid WordPress/cPanel hosting experience is the baseline. Comfortable setting up a multilingual site with WPML or Polylang. You'll get full view access to the Webflow reference, all approved copy documents, and the logo/visual identity assets. No Webflow edit access, since Webflow isn't the deliverable platform. Work from the existing, documented color/typography system as the target visual system to recreate in WordPress. A defined build project ending at go-live handover, not an ongoing retainer - future maintenance is a separate conversation. WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR PROPOSAL Relevant WordPress portfolio examples - ideally understated, editorial/earthy style rather than a bold SaaS/tech look. Your experience with [login to view URL]'s WordPress hosting, or general WordPress/cPanel hosting if you haven't used one.com. Your experience with WPML or Polylang for multilingual sites. Your recommended approach to the homepage's interactive process/timeline section. Examples of open-source photography curation and/or original illustration work - this project leans on sourcing/creating the right imagery more than photo editing, given the imagery policy above. Your suggested approach to implementing the mark + editable tagline as separate elements. A rough estimate broken down by section (homepage, services, case studies, about, inspiration, multilingual setup) so the client can prioritize within budget - a phased/optional-items proposal is welcome over an all-or-nothing quote.

Rebuilding a finished Webflow reference into WordPress is straightforward on the surface, but the real risk here is losing the restraint and clarity of the original while also handling the parts Webflow is currently faking or leaving unfinished. I’d approach this as a clean manual WordPress build with the visual system carried over closely, then rebuild the timeline/accordion sections as reusable components and set up DA/EN editing so you are not dependent on a developer for future text changes. I’ve done a lot of WordPress replication/redesign work where the source site was approved already and the job was precision, not reinvention. For your timeline section, I’d most likely build it as a lightweight custom HTML/CSS block inside WordPress rather than forcing a plugin that looks generic; for multilingual, I’m stronger with WPML, and the logo mark + tagline would be built exactly as separate editable elements. A small phased build is fine too, so you can prioritize the homepage/case studies first if needed. - Do you want the timeline and six-step process section editable from the page builder, or is a styled custom block acceptable if it keeps the design cleaner? - For imagery, would you prefer fully sourced commercial-use photos, or a mixed approach with simple custom diagrams/illustrations on the case study side?

Hello, I'm Elias, a Miami-based senior software engineer with 20 years of experience. I specialize in web development, particularly in transitioning sites between platforms like Webflow and WordPress. I understand your main goal is to replicate your existing Webflow site onto WordPress while maintaining functionality and design integrity. I've successfully built similar systems and can ensure a seamless transition. My approach would involve: 1) Analyzing the existing Webflow site to understand its structure and functionalities. 2) Designing the WordPress architecture to match your requirements. 3) Developing the core features and migrating content. 4) Testing the site thoroughly for performance and usability. 5) Launching the site and providing ongoing support. Could you please clarify the following questions to help me better understand the project? 1) Are there specific plugins or functionalities in Webflow that must be replicated in WordPress? 2) What user roles and permissions should be configured in the new WordPress site? 3) Are there any edge cases or unique workflows we need to consider during migration? I have built similar systems before. Most of my projects were completed under NDA, so I can't share them publicly, but I'd be happy to discuss the architecture and features with you. I also focus on creating a maintainable codebase to ensure your site remains adaptable for future updates.

Hi, I understand this is a from-scratch WordPress rebuild of the finished Webflow reference, not a redesign or content project. I can recreate the approved visual system in Elementor/WordPress while keeping the layout responsive and editable for the client. For the homepage timeline, I’d use a lightweight custom HTML/CSS component so the six phases remain visually close to the reference without adding unnecessary plugin overhead. The six-step accordion can use the same design system. For DA|EN, I can set up WPML/Polylang with separate editable language content and the understated header switcher. The logo mark will remain an SVG/image, with the tagline as a separate editable WordPress text element. I’ll also curate commercially licensed generic imagery and document the sources, plus create simple original icons/diagrams where needed. I’m comfortable with WordPress, Elementor, cPanel hosting, WooCommerce, SEO and custom UI work. I’d phase the build as: Homepage → Services → Case Studies → About → Inspiration → Multilingual → QA/Go-live. I can provide a section-by-section fixed estimate so optional items can be prioritized around the startup budget. Do you have a target launch date and preferred page builder, or should I recommend the most maintainable option for this site? Hafiz S

Hello!, I am a Florida-based senior software engineer and I can help you replicate your Webflow site into WordPress cleanly, fast, and without losing the polish that makes the current site feel premium. The main risk here is not just “building pages”, but missing the small details that make the site feel right, layout consistency, multilingual structure, responsive behavior, icons/illustrations, and the little UI touches clients notice immediately. I’d handle this in phases: 1) audit the Webflow site and map the structure, 2) rebuild it in WordPress with reusable templates/sections, 3) set up multilingual support correctly, 4) test on devices/browsers, and 5) polish performance and handoff so it’s easy to manage. I’m the kind of person who catches the details others skip, so the final result feels intentional, not like a rushed clone. Relevant work includes a multilingual consulting site with custom WP templates, a product branding site with icon-heavy sections, a Webflow to WordPress migration, and a startup site with custom UI components and animation cleanup. Quick questions: 1) Do you want a pixel-perfect match, or a few WordPress-friendly improvements? 2) How many pages/templates are in scope, and are the final assets ready? 3) Which multilingual setup do you prefer, WPML or Polylang? If you want someone serious about the details and the outcome, I’m ready. -James

When a site requires a fresh build to match an existing reference closely, the real challange lies in translating that visual and functional essence into a new platform while making sure all elements are correctly implement. To avoid any risks of losing existing content or SEO, I will work on a staging site, making sure you're live site remains untouched throughout the process. Phases: Safe staging build: Full site built on a private staging area first, live site untouched. Design and development: Create five main pages with interactive elements and polished visuals. Multilingual setup: Implement Danish/English versions using WPML or Polylang. Final review and go-live: Thorough testing before handover to make sure everything functions correctly. Could you clarify if you have specific preferences for the open-source imagery to be used? Rajavel

Hi, I can rebuild your finished Webflow reference from scratch in WordPress while keeping the approved content, structure, typography, colours, and visual direction consistent. I’m experienced with WordPress, Elementor/custom development, cPanel hosting, and multilingual sites using WPML/Polylang. For the homepage timeline, I’d use lightweight custom HTML/CSS so the six-phase Gantt-style component remains responsive and easy to maintain. I’ll also build the connected six-step accordion, shared line-art icons, FAQ, case-study visuals, Inspiration section, DA|EN switcher, and keep the logo mark separate from the editable tagline so it can be changed directly in WordPress. I can work in phases—Homepage, Services, Case Studies, About, Inspiration, and multilingual setup—and provide a section-by-section estimate so the budget can be prioritized. I can also share relevant WordPress examples and explain my approach before starting. Best Regards, Ihtsham

Your brief makes it clear that the challenge is fidelity and judgment, not content creation: the structure is locked, the copy is approved, but the WordPress version still needs custom handling for the chart, accordions, multilingual editing flow, and imagery rules. I’d rebuild it page by page in WordPress so the result stays close to the Webflow reference while still behaving naturally inside a maintainable WP setup. I regularly work with WordPress page-builder based builds and multilingual configurations, and I’ve also handled sites where imagery has to be curated carefully because real project photos cannot be shown. For the homepage process section, my recommendation would be a custom-coded responsive component or a simplified styled equivalent if that gives you a cleaner result within budget; I would avoid forcing a heavy plugin just for that one feature. I also like that you called out the tagline requirement clearly, because that should absolutely be live text, not baked into a logo asset. - Between WPML and Polylang, do you already have a preference based on license cost or future workflow? - Should the optional contact form be excluded from the main number completely, or would you like it shown as a separate add-on line?

Hi there, I noticed that you need a WordPress site replicated from the existing Webflow reference. My approach will ensure a precise match in content and visual identity, seamlessly transferring over to WordPress while enhancing interactive sections like the Gantt-style chart for the homepage. I'd propose using custom code for the timeline since there’s no off-the-shelf solution that meets your requirements. As for the Danish/English multilingual setup, I am experienced with WPML and can ensure the switcher integrates nicely into your header, allowing easy edits for both languages through the normal WordPress editor. I understand your emphasis on sourcing proper imagery under your policy, and I'd be glad to curate original illustrations and open-source photography to support sections such as the case studies and inspiration resources. Looking forward to discussing how we can replicate your vision in WordPress. Regards, Ali

Hi there, Rebuilding a complex, content-locked Webflow reference site into a clean WordPress environment while strictly adhering to a non-photographic imagery policy and dynamic editable taglines sounds like a great fit for my expertise. A common pitfall in such migrations is losing the exact layout rhythm and typography nuance during the transition, but my custom-tailored WordPress approach ensures an exact visual match. Here are my questions: 1. Do you prefer Elementor Pro or Bricks builder for the frontend implementation to match the exact Webflow spacing? 2. Would you like me to use WPML or Polylang for the Danish/English bilingual workflow? Let's discuss your project now!

Hello, I’ve built a WordPress site for a Danish startup, replicating a Webflow reference with custom illustrations and a multilingual setup—using WPML to keep the site editable in both languages. The client was happy with the clean implementation and the flexibility to update content independently. I can recreate your Webflow site in WordPress while handling the interactive timeline and multilingual setup. I’d approach this by using Elementor for the page builder and WPML for translations, ensuring the site stays editable and performant. The biggest challenge will be the timeline—either a custom-coded solution or a plugin like Advanced Accordion to mimic the Webflow behavior. A well-structured site will improve your client’s ability to update content without technical help, reducing future maintenance costs. I’ll also provide clear documentation for the multilingual setup so you can manage both language versions easily. Once the site is live, I’ll review the setup with you to confirm everything works as expected. If this approach fits your needs, I’d be happy to discuss the details further. Thanks, Lazar.
