I have just migrated my PrestaShop site to a fresh server and control panel and now every front-end and back-office URL throws a 500 Internal Server Error. During the move I updated three core areas of the configuration: the database connection credentials, several server-level parameters, and the directory paths. Nothing else in the codebase was touched. Your task is to trace whatever is still pointing to the old environment (or otherwise mis-configured), correct it, and have the shop loading normally again. Feel free to use PrestaShop’s debug mode, server logs, or any other diagnostic you prefer; the hosting panel gives full SSH, FTP and database access. With the prestashop in debug mode we get error : -- Warning: include(/public_html/vendor/composer/../api-platform/core/src/Metadata/Property/Factory/[login to view URL]): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /public_html/vendor/composer/[login to view URL] on line 576

Hello, there, I’ll treat this as a live-debug task rather than a code rewrite: the 500s after a domain move almost always point to environment touches that aren’t fully aligned, database host/credentials, path mappings, and autoloaded vendor references are common culprits. The error you shared points at a missing vendor file and a possibly stale autoloader that’s still expecting the old path, so I’ll verify PHP versions, Nginx/Apache vhost config, and you can expect a slow but steady trace of the include path and composer autoload settings in real time. From practical experience, I’d start by checking that the Public/ root, document roots, and any symlinks reflect the new server layout, then prune the vendor autoloader cache and re-generate it if needed. I’ll enable debug output selectively, review error_log and access_log lines around request spikes, and confirm the PS configuration values (shop URL, PS_DOMAIN, DB_ parameters) to ensure no hard-coded or old domain references linger. A reliable improvement is to introduce a guarded autoloader path resolution with clear, idempotent retries and a minimal cache for file_exists checks, so a transient path mismatch doesn’t explode subsequent requests. This keeps the site resilient during migrations and post-match reconfig. Thanks, Jim.

I will correct any remaining links to the old environment or configuration issues, ensuring that the front-end and back-office URLs work properly again. Once the issue is resolved, I will perform a thorough check to confirm the site is functioning correctly. Looking forward to resolving this issue for you! Thank you, Srdjan Njegovan

Hi there, I’ve reviewed your issue and I can help you quickly restore your PrestaShop site after the server migration. The 500 errors combined with the missing vendor file strongly indicate a broken Composer/autoload setup or incomplete dependency structure after moving environments. I will trace all misconfigured paths, verify your database and server settings, and repair the vendor/composer structure to ensure all required core dependencies are correctly loaded. I’ll also review file permissions, cache, and PrestaShop-specific configuration entries that often break during migrations. Once identified, I’ll stabilize the back-office and front-end so the store loads normally again, and ensure no hidden path references are still pointing to the old server. Debug mode and server logs will be used throughout to confirm the root cause and fix it cleanly. You’ll get a fully working shop, plus a brief explanation of what caused the issue and what was corrected so it doesn’t happen again.

My proficiency with both MySQL and PHP—core languages of PrestaShop—has provided me with the skills necessary for such endeavors. Additionally, I am well-versed in the use of hosting panels like the one you've mentioned, ensuring that I can make efficient use of the full SSH, FTP, and database access you have provided. An issue like this can stem from a variety of sources, but considering the debug mode error message you've shared with me, we'll be able to track it down more effectively. Notably, the "No such file or directory" element has piqued my interest; it may indicate an issue with directory paths during the migration process. In such a case, I'd carefully examine all related configuration files to make sure none are still pointing to the old environment. In conclusion, given my strong problem-solving aptitude backed by years of practical experience and deep knowledge of PrestaShop's inner workings, I assure you smooth sailing on your desired fresh server. Hello Your issue is a classic post-migration PrestaShop failure caused by broken Composer dependencies, most likely due to incomplete or mismatched /vendor files after moving to the new server. The specific error you shared confirms a missing API Platform interface file, which indicates autoloader corruption or partial dependency installation. I will begin by reviewing server logs and enabling full debug tracing to isolate whether the issue is strictly vendor-related or compounded by path/config mismatches. From there, I will restore the integrity of your PrestaShop installation by repairing Composer dependencies and ensuring all required packages match your current PrestaShop version. My fix process will include: • Rebuilding or restoring the /vendor directory correctly • Regenerating Composer autoload files • Verifying database and configuration integrity • Fixing incorrect absolute paths from migration • Clearing cache and recompiling PrestaShop core files I will ensure no data loss and keep your database untouched while restoring full functionality of both front office and back office. Once completed, I will validate the site in both debug and production mode to confirm stability. Portfolio: https://www.freelancer.pk/u/salahuddin1973 Regards Naufal
