The flag most bidders miss on HR - and it's exactly your payroll + leave modules: don't store leave balance as one editable number, and don't recompute payroll from current data. - Leave balance must be a LEDGER of accrual/deduction entries (balance = their sum). A mutable "balance" field drifts the moment a request is approved, edited or cancelled, and you lose the history. - A payslip must be an IMMUTABLE monthly snapshot (salary, attendance, deductions as they were that month).
