I’m building a web-based health-tech platform and need an experienced .NET developer (around two years of hands-on work) to take ownership of the appointment-scheduling feature. The core of the project is an ASP.NET web application; everything else—design language, database schema, deployment—revolves around that stack. You’ll be enhancing a green-field codebase, so clean architecture and clear naming conventions matter to me. The main goal for this phase is to let patients browse available time slots, book, reschedule, or cancel appointments, while giving practitioners an intuitive dashboard to manage their calendars. Think responsive pages, reliable time-zone handling, and automatic email confirmations. Tech at a glance: ASP.NET (Core or Framework), C#, Entity Framework (or Dapper if you prefer), SQL Server, a bit of JavaScript for interactive UI elements, and Git for version control. If you have experience wiring up calendar APIs or sending transactional email through services like SendGrid, even better. Deliverables for this milestone: • A runnable .NET web solution that compiles error-free • Database scripts or migrations for the scheduling tables • A minimal but functional front-end flow for booking and managing appointments • Setup notes so I can reproduce the environment locally (connection strings, seed data, etc.) Acceptance criteria will be straightforward: the app builds from a fresh clone, appointment data persists to SQL, and basic edge cases—double booking, conflicting time slots—are gracefully handled. If this sounds like a good fit, let’s discuss timelines and get started.
