Malaysian Voice Recording Project

I’m gathering a pool of native Malaysian voices to help enhance speech recognition systems. To comply with our licensing requirements, only Malaysian or Singapore citizens are eligible and a quick IC verification will be requested before we begin. You will read a set of clearly written, formal sentences in a quiet indoor environment and record them on your own smartphone or computer. The text is supplied; all you need is a quiet room and a clear voice. Each session typically takes about 15-20 minutes. Deliverables: • High-quality audio files (WAV or 44.1 kHz MP3) containing every assigned sentence, recorded in a single, uninterrupted session • A brief declaration confirming the recording was made in a quiet indoor setting Once I receive and spot-check the files for clarity and completeness, I release approval straight away.
