The project involves one form and one related Report. The form basically would involve a parent and child table . The basic form would capture the header (parent) record and the grid on the form would allow the user to enter MULTIPLE repair records. The grid should allow the user to select the relevant record from a master table . There would be a drop down box in the grid allowing the user to select the appropriate repair item from the REPAIR MASTER. However the labour rate and the material rate in the grid is also selected from the same master , depending on the slab. .The logic and the code as to how the slab would be selected will be given .There would be navigational keys on the form allowing the user to pan . Along with the navigational keys there would be a Find/ Search button so that the user can edit the record . On clicking the search button , a sub form would allow the user to enter the container number and a query would reflect the relevant records . The user can then select the relevant record from the browse window and edit the same.
The report form would be caputured based on a few param. selected by the user. The output could be View/ Print / Excel / PDF / Mail. The mail id is selected from the client master
