I am a documentation specialist in an international semiconductor design company.
I need someone to write Microsoft VBA scripts so I can automate various tasks in a Word template that will form the basis of our internal engineering documents.
A summary of what I need is: Dialog Box or Wizard to enter custom meta data when starting a new document; macros to add document elements, such as "Add Picture", "Add Caption", "Add Cross-reference"; macros to format tables using defined styles; macro to add/control conditional text; macro to externalize, write out document number, filename and version; macro to update field codes. Add macros to a custom menu. There may be more.
I will provide a detailed specification. I am located in the UK, some face-to-face meetings will be required, but online is OK. I have posted this as fixed price, but would also like to discuss rates as there may be maintenance follow up to do.
