Currently have an application written in Visual Studio 2010 (will supply source code) but I want to add more features to it. The current software reads the SalesOrder and Customers tables within our database, and we manually select which items have arrived for customer orders, click the box and then it sends them an sms arrival message. Current database is Access 97 (cant be changed as it is for the POS software we use). I will also supply and example of the exisiting database that the software will read from/write to.

Automatically Identify Orders:
Scan GoodsReceived table to match items received against outstanding customer orders that will be in SalesOrder table. Can do by barcode which would be a definite match, or by description which would be a possible match (the description will not match exactly). Would then like to read some of the values from the GoosReceived table, and insert them in the SalesOrder table to update the data correctly. I will send a full list of which fields go where etc.
Manage Orders of Rare Items
Need to create and extra database to record customer details and the games they are looking for. Software will then compare the descriptions of the items in the database to the items received into stock over the specified time criteria. If it thinks it has found a match it will be displayed for the user to select wether or not the match is correct. The database also needs a GUI to manage new orders, delete old orders.
