Need to get our Amazon Interface module working again. We had been using ENS (Event Notification System) which used an Amazon utility to get their certificate into the Windows Store.? This utility is no longer readily available.? Our code works if we can get it into the store.
We need an alternative.
Only respond if you have already have a solution.
Our Amazon API Interface program needs to be able to get the certificate from ENS (to download orders and upload items, etc.) into the Windows Store.? Need an alternative to either the Windows store update or ENS.
We tried to setup a new customer but cannot since we cannot import the certificates into the Windows Cert Store.
1. Login to your account on Amazon at
<[url removed, login to view]>
1. After login, you will be prompted to save a file named **[url removed, login to view]**. Please save this file to your desktop
but that takes us now to page that says that
**Note: As of March 31, 2010, it is no longer possible to download Amazon Services Order Notifier (ASON), and on July 29, 2010, technical support will be discontinued for ASON.**
From research ENS has NOT been discontinued. I did see? one doc that even says that ENS is a replacement for ASON.
But how do we import the certificates into the certificate store so that the program can find them.
I did create the X509 certs on the AWS portal and downloaded the certs.? 2 .pem files (1 public 1 private).
However windows wants a single cer file with both public and private.
How do you do this?
I tried renaming to .cer.? The public key imported but not with the name that the program was looking for but
CN=1h3yo7m85ezr, OU=AWS-Developers, O=[url removed, login to view]
When I change the program to use this I get from Amazon
