We need a simple script created to harvest data from emails archived in a folder within Microsoft Outlook Express (NOT standard Outlook). This script will run through approximately 4000 emails in 4 OE Inbox folders and will eliminate manual data entry for transferring values from each notification to an Excel spreadsheet.
Our company receives simple text format email order notifications that have a consistent template (please see below). Each email has a few pieces of data (that is in the exact same place on each email), and this script will copy each value into specific cells / columns in an MS Excel spreadsheet. A sample of the text document (order notification) can be provided upon request.
This script must be safe and cannot cause crashes or bugs in Outlook Express, and may in no way alter the source files. If this project is completed successfully, the programmer will have the opportunity to modify the script to harvest other peices of data from other Outlook Express files for $15 per additional script (we may need up to 5 more scripts for harvesting different data from different folders).
$150 paid in full once functioning product is delivered. Programmers with 10 or more completed projects ONLY. You must be able to write this for OUTLOOK EXPRESS. Already had one programmer who couldn't come through on this project and we need it completed ASAP.
Please Note: We will need an Excel spreadsheet with approx. 8-10 columns to store 8-10 peices of data from each email notification in OE (for example, customer name, phone number, address, order number, total service fees, order date, etc).
