Administrative Assistant/office manager ensures the efficient day-to-day operation of the office, and supports the , Executive Director, professional staff, board of trustees and committees. This positions reports directly to the Executive Director.
Hours are Monday to Friday
Administrative Assistant/office manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
-Answers general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner
-Directs phone inquiries to the appropriate staff members
-Replies to general information requests with the accurate information
-Greets visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner
-Uses computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents
-Sorts incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution
-Purchases, receives and stores the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available
-Codes and files material according to the established procedures
-Updates and ensures the accuracy of the organization's files and databases
-Act as webmaster for organization website.
