I am the founder and CEO of a startup, called WokeFolk. I am a social entrepreneur, and our first product is a mobile application, also called WokeFolk. The purpose of WokeFolk is to allow for and facilitate actual phone conversation between people of different races. The caller is charged a per minute fee, in order to speak to a person of color. The person called gets 90% of the proceeds. The goal and vision is to give people the exposure they need, via conversation, to people they might not normally speak to in a day.
