We're developing a new site for helping people learning lipreading. One part of the instruction material will be videos of people pronouncing words, phrases, and sentences in a clear, and well-distinguishable manner.
To record these videos, we're looking for moderately attractive (aged 20-40), native english lip-speakers (male, or female) with a hi-def camera to record a short script of sentences, and phrases.
Video recording instructions:
-Background: plain single color
-The video should record your face, and top of the shoulders *only*; please see attached image for approximate positioning of head in the video
-Lips visible (clean shaven)
-Artificial light, consistent across the whole shot, illuminating the face
I strongly recommend pulling the curtains and shouting all light out of the room, then having a consistent light source while shooting the video -we need the first words to be consistent with the last ones.
-No glasses, or other reflections from light source
-We need the audio as well, preferably in high quality
-Please make sure no background noises are made
-Protip: we don't want breathing / sneezing noises in the audio; if your mic is recording those, you can pull a sock on it, to filter air out.
-Speak in normal conversational tone
-Take 2 seconds between each word / sentence (this is for video cutting purposes)
Deliverables are a single, high-quality video in .mp4 format, uploaded to [url removed, login to view] .
To bid, please create, and upload a short video confirming the above instructions, with the following text:
"Hi! My name is , and I would like to teach lip-reading!"
Script will be given after successful bidders are selected.
Many thanks for your bids in advance!
