Outdoor News Cameraperson Needed

Filming several short news reels and on-the-spot interviews outdoors over a single afternoon. The footage feeds directly into a broadcast package, so broadcast-safe color, consistent exposure, and rock-solid audio are non-negotiable. Please arrive self-contained with: • A professional video camera and a selection of lenses suited to fast-changing street light • On-board or cabled microphone and audio kit capable of clean, wind-managed dialogue All shots will be handheld to keep the coverage dynamic and mobile; no tripod or gimbal setups are planned. Expect quick repositioning between subjects and light run-and-gun B-roll around the interview location. Deliverables at wrap: • Card-to-drive offload of all original footage (camera files and separate audio tracks if recorded) • Brief slate noting each interviewee’s name and take number for editorial reference Acceptance criteria: footage must be free of clipped audio, rolling shutter, or significant camera shake beyond normal handheld movement, and white balance must stay consistent across takes. Location and exact call time will be shared once the date is locked, but plan for approximately four hours on site with parking reimbursement covered.
