The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for the management of digital media projects for Perkins Eastman. A member of the firm-wide Brand + Communications team, the Digital Media Specialist will support the digital initiatives of Marketing, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, and other business units. The Digital Media Specialist will manage projects for the firm, working with key stakeholders to optimize content and recommend best means of delivery through various digital channels. The ideal candidate will use web best practices to optimize firm websites for best consumption of the content, including SEO principles, understanding of marketing technology, and mobile best practices. In addition, the candidate will have extensive knowledge of all social media platforms and best practices.
Develop and execute social media strategy in support of the firm’s wider communications strategy to help build global brand awareness, understanding, and engagement
Provide ongoing social media analytics.
Manage daily website maintenance including, but not limited to, updating project and personnel content, news, thought and more.
Coordinate the launch of new web content, update existing content, remove outdated content, while reviewing the site to ensure that all functionality is in proper working order
Collaborate with the firm’s third-party developer and IT to ensure regular product updates.
Support the in-house photography with image and data maintenance as it pertains to website functionality
Strong knowledge of digital media delivery platforms including web video, digital advertising, paid and organic search initiatives, and mobile applications for the business
Entry level, High or college and above. With a minimum of 1 years of digital marketing / digital communications / interactive / digital media project management experience
Strong working knowledge of digital technologies, managing internal and corporate websites, mobile applications, and ability to understand and advise on the technical development of such initiatives.
Strong desire to stay ahead of the trends and ability to research and apply emerging technologies.
Expertise in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office required
Extensive experience managing social media platforms including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
