Atticmedia seek a freelance ASP.Net developer to help with the continuing high workload. There are several projects available for the right applicant. The applicant must be prepared to commute to our office. Atticmedia is one of the leading new media production companies in the UK specialising in supplying the education, heritage, broadcasting, government and corporate sectors with websites, intranets, e-learning and games. High profile clients include the BBC, ITV, DfES and Longman. We are based in Islington and currently have around 40 staff and enjoy a relaxed but professional environment. The right applicant will have a minimum of 2 years VB.Net/ASP.Net web development experience and come from a 'traditional' ASP background whilst also having experience in OO programming. Solid experience in database design and Microsoft T-SQL is essential. You will need to show that you have supplied prior clients with CMS driven websites created using the above technologies. Good HTML skills are also needed combined with a demonstrable awareness of web accessibility (WAI / e-gov) standards. Excellent XML/XSLT skills are required.
