Hi — The tables are what will make or break this book, and they're usually what gets designed last. Ledgers, journal entries and T-accounts have to align on the decimal, hold their column widths across a whole chapter, and break cleanly when one runs past a page. Get that wrong and a student loses their place mid-entry. So I'd build proper table styles at the start instead of formatting them page by page. Everything else follows the same idea. Paragraph, character and object styles, a master grid, running heads and folios set once. After that a new chapter gets placed, not designed. That's really what you're buying, and it's why the sample chapter matters — we lock the system there and the rest moves fast. On illustrations: I do diagrams, charts and information graphics in vector. If you need drawn characters or scene illustration, that's a different specialist and I'd say so rather than pretend. You'll get the packaged InDesign file with all links, a press-ready CMYK PDF with bleeds, and an RGB version for screen.
