Hi there,
I need my website translated only in the front end from ENGLISH to SPANISH. The back end needs to remain ENGLISH. So knowledge of modifying MO files is a must.
I need someone to do 1 of 2 things.
1. Extract the English words and sentences that need to be translated. And I will go ahead and get the words and phrases translated (this will merit a cheaper price as I will be doing the translating). Then upload the converted MO files to my server.
2. I need someone to translate all the English words and sentences of my website, and upload the MO files to my server (this will merit a higher price, as you will be doing the translating and the uploading to the server).
Translation is accomplished by manipulating PO and MO files. PO files are used for the actual translation while MO files are essentially machine files containing the translations displayed by WordPress. To edit PO files and generate MO files you will need Poedit, a free piece of software available for both Windows and OS X.
*If you do not have experience manipulating PO and MO files. Do not apply.
*A Project Instruction manual will be given following awarding of the project.
