Hi, I'm Matt Sergej (feel free to call me Matt), native Slovenian and can translate technical texts from English to Slovene and vice versa for you. I'm a former technical writer (Doc-To-Help Certified Trainer) with 15+ years of experience, including managing projects to translate 1.5 million of words and leading Freelancer portal translation to Slovenian language till recently (not much regular work needed now). My lowest bid rate is 0.04 EUR/word or 10 EUR/11 USD per typical page (250 words/page), 0.05 EUR/word for less than 10 pages. Lowest translation rate in Slovenia is 0.09 EUR/word for freelancers and 0.15 EUR/word for agencies (only for the first project, then 0.25 EUR/word and above). Editing: 0.027 USD/word *** So the bid is for translating cca. 68 pages (17,000 words), with typical 8-10 pages/day for quality translation. *** For translating I use OmegaT, switched from SDL/Trados. Otherwise I'm a webmaster for 25 years (web animations/visualizations, presentations and custom programming). So there will be NO issues with placeholders, HTML tags etc. Advising you that various agencies from India and Bangladesh that bid here (and on Freelancer) usually hire Slovenian students without experience (from my own experience) so in a hurry, the work is delivered fast using Google Translate and thus of lower quality.
