I need an accurate English to Japanese translation of a business plan about 16 pages (~5000 words) but fairly simple language and non-technical. I would be willing to pay $100 for this job. However, please bid only if you are familiar with professional, formal Japanese business language. The translation has to communicate the exact meaning of the original document in a way that is professional and easily understood by native Japanese, not a word-for-word direct translation like Google translate. Native Japanese translators preferred.
Please include some samples of your work and a CV will also be helpful. Also, let me know how long it would take for you to translate the document - a fast turnaround time is required because I have a 1 week deadline.
Here is a sample paragraph of the business plan to be translated (you can translate this and send it as a sample):
TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS
Our target market is primarily Asian/Asian-American residents of Bellevue and secondarily, Asian residents of neighboring cities of Redmond, Kirkland, Issaquah, Mercer Island and the main city of Seattle. Including the Asian population in Seattle, our total target customers number 142,467. Of course, not every Asian person will be fond of our restaurant options and we have factored this in our calculations. Assuming only 30% of Asians like AND know of our restaurant initially, we will still have a conservative 6,447 unique customers in Bellevue and the Eastside. Given time and effective marketing techniques, we are certain to only increase the percentage of potential customers.
We have made a detailed forecast of our initial market demand by taking into account consumer statistics and making a few assumptions:
• Asians in Bellevue dine out an average of 8.5 times per month (a very conservative estimate compared to a Caucasian American average of 25.5 times)
• Each individual customer has 15 restaurant choices in mind whenever he/she dines out, taking into account several factors such as proximity, convenience and popularity. This factor represents how often Asian customers would visit our outlet. 15 times means customers will only visit our restaurant after they visit other restaurants 15 times. The lower the number, the more frequently the customers come to our restaurant when they are dining out.
