SUMMARY Phase II, Step 1 (of 2) - begins next (no change, as planned) with the hope still of merely restoring full, MST functionality upon my legacy smartwatch, a Samsung Gear S3 - Frontier, thru the use of Samsung Pay (not NFC). HISTORY Diagnosis and analysis already completed thankfully, and all reporting is available as a means now to start execution of said project and indeed, restoring MST full, functionality with Samsung Pay upon said legacy, smartwatch, my Gear S3 - Frontier, due to a Samsung Pay/Cloud provisioning error and or - loop. DISCLAIMER The belief here is simple: if a traditional approach could have worked before now, then it would have. And, I wouldn't need to invest more money to fix said problem - on my own, going broke to do such. I do not hence, consider this a basic, "...surface" type problem, glitch, or error then. We need out of the box thinking, not just known, mainstream type protocols and techniques, believably. We need a developer with something different then, believably. Initial assess and diagnosis from existing bug reports, to note, did not yield success here. In other words, for those familiar with the Samsung ecosystem of sorts, then they already know that trying to run an actual 'Full Report' for bug reports, either just from Settings, or even with, differently, the app SysLog, neither were completed that allowed information about the specific Samsung Pay provisioning error, not any allowance to a screenshot. PROJECT OVERVIEW / SPECIFICS 1. Compensation - $150 - paid in advance (deposit) (This will be transferred, in advance, here, to the chosen developer to begin, with an additional Step 2 possible, future, for an additional $250 more if successful. Either way, the hope is to merely be able to replicate any success here found/used, for the future, and all notes/reporting, retained by myself) 2. Timeline - TBD (to be determined) (This project does not have an official start date, although it is slated to start over the next two to three weeks, if all goes to plan. Thereafter, the chosen developer can decide anytime over the next few weeks or few months even, thereafter, on how slowly or quickly that they'd like to work to completion, before Sep 1, 2026). 3. Locale / location - online, remote work (In an emergency, yes, I can end up mailing said smartwatch potentially also, through normal mail also, with charger, and or accompanying Samsung phone, but will have to be a different model, as the Note 9 currently in possession, is about to be returned). 4. Methods / Methodology - TBD (to be decided/determined) (This will be up to said developer, their choice. As long as they know their techniques work, and the mission is accomplished, they can retain any anonymity needed) 5. Final considerations - below (initial questions, pre-bid) a. How many jobs have you worked with Samsung Pay provisioning errors? How many were successful in not just diagnosing, but then also restoring MST? b. Beyond that found online, and luckily - shared here all over our platform, do you have any of your own, original ideas, plans, or techniques that no one else has tried before now, that you plan to utilize to restore MST functionality, when traditional troubleshooting and workarounds fail? (If not or none, then this is probably not a mutual fit at this time, but thank you still for inquiring or bidding, indeed) c. If you can't find a traditional way in, method, or known fix / workaround, what is your plan then to still accomplish said project? In other words, have you ever created a workaround of your own, that fixed a problems, similar to this? CLOSING Thank you everyone for your time, as I have done nothing but learned each day while on this site and listening to everyone speak words of hope of correcting this problem with my Samsung Gear S3 provisioning error with Samsung Pay, indeed. For anyone wishing to see a more streamlined type project overview, no problems either, as here is what A.I. generated also for this same project below, from our site, thanks again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SITE PROJECT - A.I. GENERATED OVERVIEW ([login to view URL]) I need Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) fully re-enabled on my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier running the latest Tizen OS so that Samsung Pay once again works on swipe-style credit-card readers. The sole goal is to make reliable contactless payments; the solution must behave exactly like the original factory MST implementation and pass Samsung Pay’s integrity checks. The restored signal should work on ordinary Visa/MasterCard and other retail POS units across the U.S.—I’m fine if it still fails at locations that deliberately block MST, such as Walmart. Deliverables • Flashable firmware, package, or script that activates MST without breaking NFC or other watch functions • Step-by-step installation guide that can be followed with standard tools (Odin, sdb, Tizen Studio, etc.) • Proof of success: logs or a short video showing a completed payment on a conventional mag-stripe reader Acceptance criteria: the watch boots normally, Samsung Pay launches without error, MST transmits and is read by a mag-stripe terminal, payment is authorised, and battery life remains comparable to stock firmware.

As an experienced Full-Stack Developer, I understand that sometimes the solution to a stubborn problem is not traditional. I have a knack for thinking outside the box and finding unique approaches to complex issues. While I haven't explicitly worked on Samsung Pay provisioning errors before, I firmly believe that my deep understanding of technology, coupled with my adaptable approach, makes me an ideal choice for this project. In addition to deftly navigating SDKs like Samsung Accessory and Tizen for Wearables, I've honed considerable skills in troubleshooting and bug resolution. My intellectual curiosity and passion for problem-solving have enabled me to craft ingenious workarounds when faced with unfamiliar problems. And this is what your project needs: someone who won't be deterred by non-traditional roadblocks, which, rest-assured, is exactly how I operate. If selected, my plan is to leverage not only my existing knowledge and experience but also my well-honed skill in machine learning and artificial intelligence to identified Samsung Gears' glitches (set up under control groups). As an experienced full stack developer with a strong focus on mobile applications and API integration, I am confident that I can tackle your Samsung Gear S3 restoration project. While I may not have previous job records specifically dealing with Samsung Pay provisioning errors, my proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues and thinking outside the box has been well-tested throughout my career. Recently, I successfully resolved a unique database conflict issue for a major e-commerce platform by creating a custom workaround that became the foundation for future references. I am willing to bring this same ingenuity to your project to replicate any success we achieve to avoid potential future breakdowns. Moreover, my grasp of Samsung Accessory SDK and Tizen SDK for Wearables is intimate, which equips me with the necessary tools needed to work on your smartwatch - either remotely or through mail. My ability to produce clean, scalable codes ensures that the restoration process will be efficient, maintainable, and most importantly – successful. I provide reliable communication and quick response times. Rest assured that as we move forward, you will be updated every step of the way so you can gauge our progress personally.

Hello, I’m ready to take on your Samsung Gear S3 MST restoration project with a structured, system-level debugging approach focused on Samsung Pay provisioning, Tizen service behavior, and device integrity validation.I have experience working with wearable OS environments, firmware diagnostics, secure payment flows, and low-level log analysis to identify hidden provisioning loops and service mismatches that typical troubleshooting tools like SysLog often miss. My approach would start with deep inspection of Samsung Pay service states, cloud provisioning handshake failures, and token/device attestation checks specific to MST activation. If standard recovery paths fail, I can design controlled workaround strategies such as service-state reset flows, provisioning re-initialization paths, or compatibility-layer fixes while keeping system stability and payment integrity intact. The goal is to restore full MST functionality while maintaining normal watch operations and ensuring reliable payment behavior on supported POS terminals.
