How we'd approach this: 1- Inspect the existing substrate and strip back anything that won't hold 2- Establish correct falls from the start so drainage is built in, not patched later 3- Lay a solid, frost-resistant base suited to outdoor temperature movement 4- Set out the grid dry first to confirm alignment before a single tile is bedded 5- Cut porcelain precisely around every riser, edge, and junction with brickwork 6- Apply outdoor-grade adhesive with full back-buttering. 7- Grout with exterior-rated product and seal joints for long-term weather resistance 8- Finish every border edge flush and straight against lawn and brickwork 9- Leave the site clean, all offcuts, packaging, and debris removed on completion Porcelain on steps sees foot traffic, rain, and frost all year.
