Hi, I would like to get an industrial designer to develop a small product. You should have a good industrial design background and good understanding of different type of industrial materials and their characteristics. I need someone to design a product (including clear recommendations of materials and dimensions) to share with a manufacturer. It should have enough information for the manufacturer to build a product prototype. The product to design is a cat toilet training kit. The concept of the product is similar to [login to view URL] and www.litterkwitter.com. But I need to create a new improved product. I have a few ideas to improve the design. But I'd like to listen to your thoughts. The most important characteristics of the product is : - strong enough to withstand the weight of a 10-15 kg cat. - able to fit all type of toilets (western) - should be economical to produce (ie. should not consist of too much parts and should not be too expensive to produce) I am open for suggestions for the material to use. I will need to retain IP rights once the project is finished. Please only respond if you have experience in industrial design.
