Hi Nick V., I recently completed a very similar project. I can show u sample. - Questions 1) Data/physics: How are Buyer/Deal attributes represented (one-hot, embeddings, numeric ranges)? Confirm similarity metric (cosine over normalized vectors?) and weighting per attribute Expected node counts/updates per second, and do we need deterministic layouts across sessions? 2) Spline integration: Should we control objects via Spline Runtime (interactive API) or export GLTF from Spline and drive physics in Threejs? Any need for custom shaders/postFX beyond Spline (eg, instanced particles, SDF labels, color-managed Purple/Teal theme)? - Suggestions 1) GPU force-sim: Implement attribute-aware N-body on GPU (WebGL2 ping-pong FBOs) with RK2/RK4 integration, velocity damping, and grid-based neighbor binning Force = many-body attraction scaled by similarity and repulsion by dissimilarity; set orbital radius r ∝ (1 – similarity) This yields stable “solar system” orbits while maintaining cluster cohesion; falls back to CPU for low N 2) Hybrid pipeline: Author visuals in Spline (central star, orbit rings, UI chrome), export GLTF layers with consistent names; drive physics, picking, and interactions in Threejs Use InstancedMesh for nodes, SDF text for crisp labels, and color-calibrated Purple/Teal in linear/sRGB with ACES tonemapping You send me a message ok, lets discuss and btw my portfolio is uploaded here and on my website.
