The fixture will be driven from a large PCB—more than 100 mm × 100 mm—and must power four independent LED channels while keeping temperatures in check and maintaining precise current control. Scope You will take the concept from schematic capture all the way through to production-ready files. That includes component selection, thermal modelling, current-regulation topology, and every detail of the physical layout that ensures clean signal integrity for DMX512 with full RDM feedback. Essential requirements • RGBW output with multiple independent LED channels • Robust thermal management strategy (heatsinking, copper pours, vias, or other proven techniques) • Accurate, programmable current control per channel • DMX512 input/output with RDM compliance and proper termination • Board outline larger than 100 × 100 mm, ready for standard panelisation Deliverables 1. Complete schematic in your preferred CAD tool (Altium, KiCad, or Eagle are all fine). 2. PCB layout meeting manufacturer DRC and ready for 4-layer fabrication. 3. BOM with second-source options for critical parts. 4. Gerber/ODB++ package, pick-and-place files, and assembly drawings. 5. Brief design report summarising thermal analysis, current-control calculations, and DMX/RDM test plan. Acceptance criteria • ERC/DRC passes with no errors. • Thermal simulation shows LED junctions within safe limits at full load. • Prototype layout reviewed for DMX signal integrity (≤ 120 Ω differential impedance, correct stub lengths). • RDM discovery and parameter change verified in a standard console.
