We are seeking a professional QA Engineer with a GREAT eye for detail to assist with the perfect delivery of our software and website projects. KEY COMPETENCIES - Attention to detail - Communication skills - verbal and written - Perfect English language, with a complete understanding of Australian spelling vs US spelling (this will be tested prior to hire) - Able to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and work collaboratively with other teams - Able to give intelligent feedback and receive feedback gracefully - Has a strong sense of visual design and knowledge of the interplay with UI design SKILL REQUIREMENTS - Should be well-versed in current Web & Mobile standards, including best practices for usability and accessibility - Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) - Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback - Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images - Has exposure to or experience with usability studies - Work closely with Product/Project Managers to understand customer requirements - Build and enact detailed test plans and test cases - Advocate for our end users by triaging bugs, tracking and reporting defects, and ensuring their timely resolution - Perform initial analysis for technical issues and work closely with developers to reproduce and solve problems - Validate new features and improvements to either our website or apps - Be on the continual lookout for areas of improvement in the overall product release cycle - An obsession for the customer and users of websites - a drive to make things look and work beautifully - An excitement to find that "WOW" moment for customers, and helping developers to come up with ideas that really impress customers - from layout to menu styling to form display to transitions - we want you to be always on the lookout for ways to really impress our customers.
