This project involves testing an education computer program. It is essential that the program be tested thoroughly to remove any bugs before the program goes to market. The testing will be white box and will mostly be based on the help documentation. However, some additional tests will be required for undocumented features.
1) A complete test plan for the program that covers all features described in the help (which will be provided). The test plan should use the testers expertise to test all aspects of the program, all variations in functionality, all variations in user input, and all reasonable execution paths (from a white box perspective). This task is expected to take 6-12 hours The test plan will be white box only and will not require any knowledege of the programs code or structure. 2) Execution of the above test plan. This task is expected to take 4-8 hours 3) Informal testing using the testers experience and intuition to try and "break" the program. This task is expected to take 6 hours. 4) The tester should complete at least 3 of the 10 levels (and more may be negotiated). This task is expected to take 2-8 hours. 5) Reporting of any bugs in a professional manner that allows the bugs to be reliably reproduced by a developer.
