Lenovo Field Support Engineer Needed

I run the Lenovo service desk for Marathahalli, Bangalore and need an on-site support engineer who can step straight into daily field calls. With at least one year of hands-on hardware troubleshooting behind you, you should already feel comfortable swapping a laptop motherboard before lunch and a cracked display right after. Day to day you will: • Visit customer locations around Marathahalli to diagnose and resolve hardware or mixed hardware-software issues on laptops, desktops, All-in-One PCs and high-performance workstations. • Replace faulty display assemblies, system boards, RAM, SSDs/HDDs and other FRUs quickly and cleanly, keeping detailed part-usage logs. • Escalate edge-case faults to our engineering team, documenting symptoms and attempted fixes so they can reproduce them. • Close each ticket with a concise service report and, when required, brief the customer on preventive steps. Acceptance criteria: • First-time-fix rate above 90 %. • All part swaps performed to Lenovo service manual standards—no board-level rework required, neat re-assembly a must. • Service reports uploaded the same day. Most calls will be within a few kilometres of our Marathahalli base, but occasional travel elsewhere in Bangalore may be necessary. Basic tools and ESD protection gear are provided; please bring any specialty bits you prefer.
