Primary Teacher, Grades 1-3

I need a warm, energetic teacher who can take full charge of Classes 1 through 3, guiding the same small group of about five to seven children across the entire curriculum. You’ll cover every core subject—math, science, language arts, social studies—so confidence in teaching multiple disciplines is essential. My classroom philosophy blends interactive, hands-on exploration with clear, structured instruction. Some lessons will be lively experiments or games on the carpet; others may rely on direct teaching, notebooks, and quiet practice. Striking that balance and reading the room quickly is critical. Because the class size is tiny, planning will focus on individualized goals, differentiated materials, and frequent assessment rather than crowd control. I will provide existing syllabi and resources, but I count on you to adapt them, design engaging activities, and report progress to parents in writing and during brief conferences.
