Hello, I have experience reviewing mechanical equipment supports, anchors, seismic restraints, and installation details against project requirements and structural loading criteria. However, I do not personally hold a current Queensland RPEQ registration, so I cannot truthfully provide the RPEQ number this listing specifically requires. I can assist with checking the fan supports, brackets, anchors, embedment, duct independence, and preparing supporting calculations for AS 1170.4 review. I also work with licensed engineers, but because your requirement is for the bidder personally to be a currently registered RPEQ who can sign Form 15 or Form 16, I understand that this arrangement may not satisfy your acceptance criteria. Thanks for reading my proposal. Edwin

The job requires a QLD Form 15 for seismic restraint certification under AS 1170.4, as stated. I will assess the installed seismic restraint for the two Fantech JetLine-250ECO inline fans. This involves verifying the Walraven cantilever brackets and their Friulsider X3 frame fixings, including the 50mm embedment into the concrete block wall, and checking the bolted fan cradle design with waffle-pad isolation. I will also review the independent support for the 300x300 rigid ductwork. My assessment will be based on AS 1170.4 to determine compliance. I will assume the concrete block wall has adequate structural integrity for the specified fixings until confirmed otherwise. What is the exact form number the building certifier will accept, Form 15 or Form 16? I am a Preferred Freelancer with a 5.0 rating over 10 reviews, delivered on time and on budget each time. Send the project plans and any specific certifier communication, and I will send back the completed QLD Form 15 or Form 16, along with any required supporting calculations.

Hey, The key challenge is verifying the existing fan restraint arrangement against AS 1170.4 and producing certification that the Queensland building certifier can accept. Our engineering team can review the as-built support details, anchor data, fan loads, bracket configuration, and seismic restraint arrangement, then prepare the required supporting calculations and certification. We can coordinate the structural/mechanical review, identify any gaps in the supplied anchor data, and advise whether pull testing or additional evidence is required before certification. Could you please clarify whether the certifier has specifically requested Form 15, or whether they have indicated that Form 16 would be acceptable if required? Best Regards, Gridsmith LTD

EVEN IF YOU DON'T HIRE ME, YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH A FREE CONSULTATION. You need a currently registered RPEQ to certify seismic restraint compliance for two Fantech inline fans on Walraven cantilever brackets, then sign off Form 15 for your building certifier. The hard parts are confirming the Friulsider X3 fixings meet AS 1170.4 embedment and load requirements, and delivering a defensible calc to back the certification. Here's how I'd approach it: - Review your site photos, as-constructed drawings, fixing datasheet and fan data to establish the existing restraint arrangement - Run compliance assessment against AS 1170.4 for the 5.8 kg fan mass, bracket capacity and anchor pull-out resistance - Prepare signed Form 15 with supporting calc or letter, flagging any pull-test data needed if published anchor performance is insufficient I hold current RPEQ registration. Let me know if you'd like to discuss the scope before you decide. Kind regards, Cornelius
