I’ll lock wind speed, exposure, WBDR, flood zone, and energy zone per FBC 2023/ASCE 7-22. - Will your engineer of record supply sealed calcs/details and MEP equipment selections, or should I propose prelim loads, panel sizes, tonnage, and fixture counts for review? I think we should. - Use discipline Xrefs + Sheet Set Manager with only your project title info, no logos; this keeps cooridnation clean and DWGs 100% editable. - Apply NCS layers, annotative text/dims, and dynamic schedules so notes/tags scale right and remain native—no pasted images, no exploded PDFs. Lets follow a plan like this. - I set up CAD standards, layers, viewports, and your title info; organize sheets by Arch/Struct/MEP in DWG only. - I draft Architectural: exterior elevations, roof plan, door/window schedules, keyed details, and general/code notes per FBC. - I develop Structural: foundations, footings, slab/rebar, roof framing, connectors, wind/uplift call‑outs ready for engineer review. - I layout MEP: HVAC ducting/equipment, power/lighting with panel schedules, plumbing supply/waste, risers, and sheet‑level specs for permit.
