Here’s how I’d present it and what I’d lock down so devs don’t drift into a React or full custom backend. Key alignment statements We are not building a full-stack app. Webflow is the UI and CMS. Vanilla JS handles UX only. Serverless is authoritative for pricing and booking actions. SimplyBook is the source of truth for bookings and availability. Stripe is the source of truth for payments. Supabase is only for pricing tables plus auth for the small pricing admin. Instant Quote flow, crisp version User inputs in Webflow form. JS collects and validates. JS calls serverless to fetch price and availability. Serverless reads pricing rules from Supabase, queries SimplyBook for slots, returns a signed quote payload. Webflow renders the quote. On confirm, JS triggers Stripe using the quote id. Webhooks confirm payment then serverless creates or finalizes the booking in SimplyBook and stores a reference id for reconciliation. Pricing admin scope Only a small internal page that uses Supabase Auth and the JS SDK. It can CRUD pricing tables, logs changes, and cannot access bookings, customers, or payments. Tech question Which serverless runtime are we using (Cloudflare Workers, Vercel Functions, AWS Lambda), and where will we store quote ids and idempotency keys to prevent duplicate charges or duplicate bookings?
