SQL Developer & Manual Tester

I need an experienced hand with Microsoft SQL Server who can both build and scrutinise. On the development side you will design the underlying database for a desktop application, write and fine-tune the T-SQL queries it relies on, and wrap key logic into clear, reusable stored procedures. Once the data layer is in place I want a second set of eyes on the finished product: structured manual testing of the desktop app, covering common user flows as well as edge cases that could expose performance or integrity issues. Precise reproduction steps, screenshots or short clips, and concise bug reports in a tracker of our choice will be expected for anything you uncover. Deliverables • Normalised schema and migration scripts • Optimised queries and documented stored procedures • A test plan with executed test cases and logged defects If you are comfortable switching between SSMS for development and a disciplined, methodical QA mindset for testing, I’m ready to share the existing codebase and dive straight in.
